WristCard - Support
Developer: Intelligent Technical Services LLC
Initial verified configuration: Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
and a United States 2021 Tesla Model Y Long Range
WristCard turns a supported Wear OS watch into a contactless backup vehicle
key. It works locally through NFC and does not require the phone, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, a vehicle-account password, or a cloud service.
Compatibility notice: The configuration
above is the initial verified combination. Other Wear OS watches, vehicle
models, model years, regions, and software versions have not yet been verified
and are not guaranteed.
Add WristCard as a vehicle key
- Turn on NFC and unlock the watch.
- Open WristCard and tap the status card.
- Set or enter the WristCard PIN if requested.
- In the parked vehicle, open Controls > Locks > Keys > Add Key.
- Hold the NFC side of the watch near the vehicle's key-card reader.
- Confirm the new key with a physical vehicle key card when requested.
- Rename the new entry WristCard so it can be identified later.
Everyday use
- Unlock the watch and enter the WristCard PIN when required.
- Hold the watch close to the vehicle's NFC reader until the watch provides
feedback and the vehicle responds.
- Carry a physical key card. WristCard is intended as a backup key and
should not be the only way to access the vehicle.
If a watch is lost or replaced
Remove the WristCard entry from the vehicle's key list immediately. A new
watch or a reinstalled production app creates a different private key and must
be paired again.
